This Privacy Policy explains how Ink-Alchemist (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, and stores the personal data you provide when participating in our Early Access Postcard Exchange.
This policy applies only to this early-stage creative experiment and does not cover any future products or services.

1. What Data We Collect

When you join the Early Access Postcard Exchange, we collect:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Postal address (to send and receive your postcard kit)

  • Optional personal details you choose to share with your postcard recipient

  • Optional notes intended only for us (not shared)

We do not collect phone numbers, payment information, or any sensitive data (religious, political, health-related, etc.).

2. Why We Collect This Data

We collect this information solely to:

  1. Send you a Postcard Kit

  2. Receive your returned postcard

  3. Forward it to another participant

  4. Communicate with you about the exchange

  5. Analyze general interest and participation for this creative experiment

We do not use your data for marketing, selling, or advertising.

3. Who Has Access to Your Data

Only the Ink-Alchemist team members directly involved in running this Early Access exchange.

Your postal address is never shared with other participants. All postcards are routed through us to protect privacy and comply with GDPR.

Only the personal details you voluntarily provide will be shared with the participant receiving your postcard.

4. Data Storage and Retention

Your data will be stored securely in our internal database or password-protected files.
Because this is an early-stage experiment, all collected data will be automatically deleted after 31 January 2026, unless required earlier for completing the exchange.

If you withdraw participation, your data will be deleted sooner upon request.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to:

  • access your data

  • correct your data

  • request deletion at any time

  • withdraw from the experiment

  • ask how your data is being used

6. Withdrawing Your Consent

You may withdraw from the Early Access exchange at any time.
If you do, your data will be removed, and no further postcards will be sent or forwarded.

7. Updates to This Policy

This policy is temporary and valid only for this Early Access experiment.
If we extend or change the project after January 31, 2026, we will provide a new Privacy Policy.
